Introduction to Microarray, Oslo, 31. May-1. June 2010

The introductory course to microarrays is a two day course that aims to familiarize scientists to microarray technology. During the course, lectures covering the following topics will be given; Microarray pipeline, Experimental design, Introduction to microarray-based technologies and platforms, Use of microarrays, Wet-lab, Preprocessing of microarray data (quality control, filtering, normalization), Finding differentially expressed genes using statistics, Introduction to explorative methods (clustering, PCA etc), Gene Ontology and Pathways.
